Rules Governing the Imperial Family of the Imperial Realm
The following rules apply to all individuals who are members of the Imperial Family. WHile these rules do not apply to all members of our groups, we do provide this information in order to help you understand the inner workings of the imperial family and our family traditions inworld.
As with most royal families whether it is in-world or in the real world, there are traditions that are adhered to with long standing precedence and tradition. The same applies to the Imperial Family here as well. Most of the traditions adhered to by the family have been used since the first days of the imperial realm. A tradition does not mean that a no will prevent something from happening but is used and intended to ensure respect and protection of the imperial family. The traditions are as follows:
All members of the Imperial Family have a right to be married. An Imperial Prince (son or grandson of the Imperial Queen) or Imperial Princess (daughter or granddaughter of the Imperial Queen), shall ask the blessing of the Imperial Queen when engaged to be married. Except in cases that warrant refusal of said blessing the Imperial Queen will grant her blessing. In cases where the Imperial Queen declines to grant her blessing the marriage may still occur however, the individual marrying into the family may or may not be granted titles in the realm.
When the Imperial Queen issues notice of an official ceremony within the realm the members of the royal family wear the ceremonial colors of rank.
As with all royal families each royal member is addressed according to their title. For example a Prince or Princess is addressed as "Your Highness" The Imperial Queen is Addressed as "Your Majesty" When referring to a member of a royal family in the third person usually the "Your" is replaced with "Her" or "His" depending on the context.
