The Imperial Realm's Rules for Club Realm
Welcome to the Imperial Realm! We are excited to have you visit us both at our home on the internet and in virtual-world locations.
To ensure that all members of our groups, Inworld, can utilize their right to get the best quality experiences with our groups and the various programs and services we have to offer you Inworld, we have established rules to guide all members on what is expected of you at all times on our lands and in our group chats.
To ensure no misunderstandings, each set of rules applies to the specific group of users as indicated at the top of each rules section.

Club Realm Rules
The following rules apply to all members, staff, and visitors club venues in each virtual world. All members, staff, and visitors are responsible for their actions. You are responsible for adhering to our rules and guidelines on our lands and groups. Violating our rules and guidelines will result in the appropriate punishment for your infractions.
The following are the general provisions of the rules and regulations for Club Realm Venue locations:
- Mission Statement - The Mission of Club Realm is to provide a fun and friendly venue of entertainment in SecondLife by providing the best artists, staff, and management possible while encouraging the success of other businesses in groups both in the same region and through an affiliate network.
- Club Realm will provide a friendly entertainment atmosphere by recruiting the best dj’s and performers possible, providing quality training programs for staff, ensuring a wide range of events, and by providing public relations promotions for Club Realm and other groups.
- Effective Policy - This policy is effective immediately upon approval of the owners of Club Realm. Any previous provisions are hereby revoked and these policies put in their place.

Dismissal of Staff - In the event any member of staff violates the
policies set herein or the rules of Club Realm and or engage in inappropriate or
unethical behavior which includes but is not limited to:
- Knowingly attempting to sabotage events or the success of Club Realm;
- Violates the Terms of Service of the virtual world the venue is located in;
- Endangers the health or safety of others; and
- Or otherwise violates the law of any respective jurisdiction
The following are the staff provisions of the rules and regulations for Club Realm Venue locations:

General – Club Realm will be operated by a staff working together as a
team. While each member of the staff holds a tag and specific positions with specific
responsibilities, all members of the staff are equal in the overall goals and success of
Club Realm. The following shall be required of all staff:
- All staff shall arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled events.
- Group notices shall be sent out no less then 30 minutes prior to the scheduled events.
- Staff members who are working a shift my not enter a club sponsored contest that occurs during their scheduled event.
- Attend all required weekly staff meetings and training workshops.
- Submit an application to be considered for employment by Club Realm.
- No member of staff shall at any time while at the club during their scheduled event or while attending as a VIP shall advertise other entertainment venues in local chat or in instant messages. Any attempt to sabotage events or the club will be grounds for dismissal and potential ban.
- Perform other such duties as may be directed by the General Manager and or owners.
- Owners – The owners of Club Realm constitute the final decision making authority within Club Realm. No owner may participate in any contest or receive benefits of winnings from contests. Each owner will be assigned specific oversight responsibilities to ensure owners have final oversight of all operations of Club Realm.

General Manager – The General Manager is the senior most administrative
staff member of Club Realm. The General Manager shall serve as the Chief Operating
Officer of Club Realm and shall act as the agent of the owners. The duties of the
General Manager are:
- Review all applications for employment at Club Realm and make recommendations to the owners regarding successful candidates for the various positions.
- Oversee the daily operations of Club Realm and advise the owners on matters affecting Club Realm.
- Serve as the primary administrator of the Club Realm Affiliate Network.
- Review the operating policies and draft recommended changes on a monthly basis that will ensure the success of the club.
- Work with the club’s website developer to ensure the site’s content is kept up to date at all times.
- Perform other such duties as may be directed by the owners.

Assistant Manager – The Assistant Manager shall perform the following
duties at the direction of the General Manager:
- Review all applications for employment and make recommendations to the General Manager for inclusion of all applications they feel are a good fit for the Club’s staff team.
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the club.
- Be present for events during their assigned hours.
- Ensure that proper support is provided to all staff and performers in the performance of their duties.
- Perform other such duties as directed by the General Manager and or the owners.

Hosts/ Hostesses – All hosts/ hostesses of club outlaw shall perform
the following duties:
- Host the dj’s and live performers during their scheduled events.
- Manage all contests occurring during their events.
- Assist members and guests with any matters while at the club.
- Engage members and guests to foster a more lively event.
- Ensure group notices about their events are sent out on time.
- Perform other such duties as directed by the Assistant Managers, the General Manager, and or the owners.

Dancers – Dancers are to perform the following duties:
- Assist the hosts/ hostesses in engaging the members and guests to foster a more lively and successful event.
- Ensure a friendly environment is provided at each event.
- Work their scheduled events and be on time for each event.
- Help members and guests with questions they may have to ensure they can enjoy their stay at the club.
- Perform other such duties as directed by the hosts/ hostesses, Assistant Managers, the General Manager, and or the owners.

Security – The duties of the security staff are as follows:
- Maintain security and safety at the club.
- Eject those members who create a nuisance to those at the club to enjoy entertainment.
- Assist other staff in ensuring a successful event.
- Assist estate management with security matters when directed by the owners.
- Perform other such duties as may be directed by the assistant managers, general manager, and or the owners.

Greeters – Greeters will perform the following duties:
- Make all visitors and members feel welcome at the club.
- Assist with group tags for those who do not have one.
- Perform other such duties as may be directed by the dancers, hosts/ hostesses, assistant managers, general manager, and or the owners.

DJs and Live Performers – Djs and Live Performers shall perform the
duties they were hired to perform and assist wherever needed. Dj’s and Performers in
addition to the policies of Club Realm shall be governed by the policies of their
respective stations. Djs and live performers shall also adhere to the following
policies:
- Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled shift. If the Dj is coming from another venue where they were scheduled prior to their scheduled shift they shall be not more then five minutes late.
- No Dj or live performer shall be permitted to be under the influence of alcohol or other substance while on the air. THis is the law in most jurisdictions.
- In the event a Dj or Live Performer is unable to make their scheduled shift for any reason the Dj or Live Performer shall notify management at least four hours before the scheduled event. This is to ensure enough time has been given to make sure the shift is covered. If you are able to make arrangements with another Dj or Live Performer please be sure to let management know.
- While voice over is an added plus and should be used, we understand there are sometimes circumstances where it is not able to be used. We ask that you please let management know before being hired or in last minute technical problems as soon as possible.
- Upon reciept of a request or dedication be sure to get the request and or dedication out as quickly as possible.
- Treat VIPS and customers with dignity and respect. Remember this is what makes you a great Dj or Live Performer.
- DJs and Live Performers shall not advertise other entertainment venues while on the air at Club Realm.
- 2.9.8 Perform other such duties as may be directed by the owners.
The following are the staff provisions of the rules and regulations for Club Realm Venue locations:

Staff Pay – All staff pay shall be paid on a monthly basis unless
otherwise stated. The pay schedule is as follows:
- Owners – No owner shall receive pay.
- General Manager – The General Manager shall be entitled to a base salary of L$3,000 in Second Life currency or the equivelant virtual world currency per month.
- Assistant Managers – Assistant Managers shall be entitled to a base salary of L$1,500 in Second Life currency or the equivelant virtual world currency per month.
- Hosts/ Hostesses – All Hosts/ Hostesses shall be paid by means of tips.
- Dancers – All dancers shall be paid by means of tips.
- Security – All members of the security staff shall be paid by means of tips.
- Greeters – All greeters shall be paid by means of tips.
- DJs and Live Performers – All DJs and live performers shall be paid the fees agreed upon by the DJ and or Live Performer and Club Realm.
- Tips – Club Realm shall receive 10% of each tip paid. All tip jars shall be assigned by club realm and shall require the person to log in. DJs are exempt from the 10% and are authorized to use their own tip jars.
The following are the meeting provisions of the rules and regulations for Club Realm Venue locations:
- Staff Meetings – All staff members are required to attend the weekly staff meetings each Saturday at 2PM SL Time.
- Owners Meeting – The owners shall meet on Saturday at 11:00AM SL Time on a weekly or biweekly basis as determined by the owners. Each owner shall provide a report of the activities arising from their oversight. The General Manager shall bring the concerns of staff to the attention of the owners and report on the overall operations of the club. The owners shall receive (1) vote on all matters before the owners.
- Training Workshops - All owners and staff are to attend the scheduled training workshops. This is to help provide a better well trained staff.
- Other Meetings – Other meetings may be scheduled as determined necessary.
The following are the affiliate network provisions of the rules and regulations for Club Realm Venue locations:
- Overview and Mission – The mission of the Club Realm Affiliate Network isto provide a venue businesses and groups can share ideas that will help each other be successful and help each other with various needs. It is the goal of the Club Realm Affiliate Network to encourage successful businesses by providing programs that mentor and help new and current businesses get better exposure thus getting their name well known and getting them more business.

Strategic Goals – The goals of the affiliate network are:
- Provide a resource for businesses and groups within the network to obtain the valued services they need to be successful.
- Provide a stronger Public Relations network for all businesses and groups to ensure their names are better known on the SL grid.
- Provide a forum for discussion for business and group owners to pass ideas to each other.
- To provide a training program for owners and staff members of groups and businesses in the network at a lower cost.
- Provide flexibility for growth of the network.

Process to join network – To join the network a business or group must:
- Have been in operation for not less than 1 week.
- Must have the goals of being very successful.
- Be willing to work with others to ensure greater success for all businesses and groups part of the network.
- Have provided the network manager with the name of your business or group, a landmark to your location, a list of the owners and staff that are part of your group or business, and any other information required.
- A group tag will be issued upon meeting the requirements.
- Network Forums – A forum website shall be created dedicated to the affiliate network to ensure proper ability to communicate information both inworld and out of world. Ejection from Network – Violating any rules established for the network or website policies may result in being ejected from the group.
The following are the retail vendor provisions of the rules and regulations for Club Realm Venue locations:
- Retail Vendors Allowed – Club Realm shall allow the placement of retail vendors providing they meet the requirements in 6.4.
- Space Rentals – To rent a space for a retail vendor shall be L$150 per week. Vendors must pay on time and no later than Monday each week.
- Commissioned Vendors – In exchanged for waived tier you may provide a commissioned vendor to Club Realm. Commissioned vendors should be sent to Diamond Moonwinder inworld.
- Low Lag Requirement – All vendors must be low lag. Vendors with more then 10 scripts are not allowed. Club Realm recommends HippoVend, Alika, Kinex, Caspervend, and other low lag vendors.
- Removal of Vendors – Retail vendors will be removed upon non payment of tiers, inappropriate content in vendors, vendors cause to much lag, vendors do not meet the requirements.
The following are the miscellaneous provisions of the rules and regulations for Club Realm Venue locations:
- Rights Reserved – All rights to the Club Realm name, logos, and marks are reserved by the owners of Club Realm.
- Copyrights Retained – Club Realm Owners retain the copyrights to the name Club Realm, the Club Realm Logo, and the Club Realm Brand.
- DMCA Requirements – All DMCA requirements have been met by Club Realm. Content by 3rd parties are the responsibility of their respective creators.
The following are the application code provisions of the rules and regulations for Club Realm Venue locations:
- Application Code - Every application submitted to Club Realm management for consideration of applicants for employment at the club shall require an application code. The purpose of the code is to ensure that the applicant is a real person. The code must be retrieved from application kiosk inworld at each venue location.
