Rules and Policies of the Imperial Realm

Imperial Realm Sandbox Region Rules

The Imperial Realm is pleased to invite our residential and business land customers to use our sandbox regions to create outstanding content. As part of ensuring that we keep our regions safe for everyone to use, we do ask that you abide by the following rules in our sandbox regions in each virtual world we offer them in.

Social Behavior

The following rules govern social behavior on our sandbox regions in each virtual world:

  1. Verbal abuse will not be tolerated, please discuss issues calmly or you will be removed immediately
  2. Do not interfere with the enjoyment and functionality of the sandbox for others. (If you are asked to stop, then stop)
  3. Keep the entrance and surrounding area free for arrivals.
  4. Private skyboxes and platforms are to be kept private; if you are asked to leave the platform do so.
  5. All arguments are to be taken to IM
  6. No nudity – please keep genitals covered unless you are testing them. Any testing\building of prim\sculpty genitalia must be done on a sky platform that is at least 500m above the land.

Building

The following rules govern building and creating content on our sandbox regions in each virtual world:

  1. Clean up after yourself.
  2. Any builds over 1500 prims need permission to be kept in sim for long time spans.
  3. Keep large builds off ground level to keep the area uncluttered. (Anything over 50×50 at least 500M above the land)
  4. Save your work often, each virtual world platform can be very unforgiving

Weapons and Physics

The following rules govern the testing and creation of weapons and physics on our sandbox regions in each virtual world:

  1. Weapons testing and tossing of impeding physical objects are to be taken to the platform at 3000M and are to be kept away from those who aren’t participating.
  2. If a physical object is bound to accidentally hit somebody, please don’t do it on ground level.

Spam and Advertising

The following rules govern spam and advertising on our sandbox regions in each virtual world:

  1. No spam, advertising, or selling of content is allowed in our sandbox regions in each virtual world.

Violation of Rules

Any violation of these rules will be subject to the following consequences:

  1. Verbal Warning - You will be given one verbal warning at which time you must immediately stop the behavior or violation you are being warned about.
  2. Ejection - You can be ejected from the sandbox region. An ejection from a sandbox region will result in you being banned from the sandbox region(s) owned and maintained by the Imperial Realm. If you disagree with the ban and think the ban was not warranted, you will need to appeal to the Imperial Queen.
  3. Temporary Suspension (1 to 7 days based on offense) - You may be given a temporary suspension depending on the offense. If you are given a temporary suspension, you will not be allowed on any of our sandbox regions for the duration of the temporary suspension. Because the suspension is temporary and is not permanent, you do not have the right to appeal this decision to the Imperial Queen and the decision is final.
  4. Permanent Ban - Depending on the seriousness of the offense, you may be subject to being permanently banned from our sandbox regions. In the event you have been permanently banned this will also apply to all of our sandbox regions on any virtual world. Trying to in any way get around the ban will only make matters worse. You do have the right to appeal a permanent ban to the Imperial Queen within 72 hours.

The above actions may be taken in addition to the following:

  1. Anything deemed as a threat to the region or estate will be removed and you will be baned from all regions owned and maintained by the Imperial Realm.
  2. all consequences are final unless stated otherwise.
  3. Any activity deemed inappropriate or harmful by a staff member of Imperial Estates will be returned immediately and a proper punishment will be put in place for the content owner.
  4. Any form of crashers or spammers will result in a permanent ban.

Sandbox Region Maintenance

The staff of Imperial Estates are responsible for maintaining the regions owned and operated by the Imperial Realm including our sandbox regions. Maintenance is done on a daily bases with restarts scheduled at least one time per week.

Objects in the sandbox are returned around midnight (SLT) Sunday nights, if you would like your build excluded from the wipe you must send a notecard and offline IM to Diamond Moonwinder by Sunday afternoon.

Conclusion

Remember it is your responsibility to read the rules and abide by them. There are no excuses for violating the rules. We treat everyone in an equal manner.
